Each county official has their own web site that matches the design of the main web site perfectly.

In its centennial year, the Hancock County Courthouse celebrated by renewing their web site. The focus on its history is obvious, with a photo area full of pictures of the ornate stained glass, beautiful architechture, and historic artifacts.

Our goal was to highlight the beauty of the courthouse, and make the web site a wealthy resource of information to the county.

County Officials

Eight of the county's officials have their own web site embeded as part of the web site. Each official has their own login and password, and can make changes to their individual sites whenever they have a need. They can make available documents and forms that many people would otherwise have to visit the office to obtian. None of these web sites even require basic web design skills to maintain. All of them fit in perfectly with the main web site in style and design.

Other Area Officials

This web site is a one-stop resource for every level of government in the hancock county area. Contact information is available for all village and township officials. Fire and ambulance phone numbers are available for each area. The contact directory even gives the phone number for the office of the U.S. Senator.

Accessible Government

Most people know that there's a public record of what goes on in county board meetings, but have no idea how to find out what's going on. In Hancock County, it's as easy as going to the courthouse web site. Board meeting minutes, official notices, board member information, and even a contact form for questions are all available on the web.
