Computing Made Easy has announced its fall 2007 class schedule at both Carthage and Quincy Education and Technology Centers. Never before offered classes highlight the new schedule that offers more to students now than ever before.
“We are excited about the new class schedule and hope that local businesses and computer owners are as well. We have two things in minds when we made this new class list, first was what our current customers want to see from us regarding classes, those who get free classes with the purchase of a computer. We responded by offering more one evening classes, than four week courses. These one evening classes are topic focuses, and concentrate on learning a single feature or function of the computer; examples are our “Email Basics; Starting From the Beginning!” class, the “Understanding Files and Folders” class and more”, said Computing Made Easy, CEO, Eric Dooley.
The second focus is what local businesses want to be able send their staff to that will teach them practical business application skills and allow them to be productive in the workplace, examples are Formulas and Function Basics, Create Graphs and Charts Using Spreadsheets, Adding Multimedia To Your Presentation and more. Again, they are one evening; topic focuses classes rather than general, Microsoft Excel or Microsoft PowerPoint classes.
Computing Made Easy added user group meetings as well, that include WildBlue (satellite internet) User Groups, and Parents of Internet Kids Club that helps parents monitor and filter internet content on home computers, and educates them on what children are doing online. Computing Made Easy plans to continue to expand its class offerings.
